The Purpose of this Chapter is the promotion of
the best interests of the companies which provide
traffic control and safety devices, materials and
services to governmental agencies and private
industry in the following manner:

- Establishing a central organization through
which lawful undertakings of the industry may
be conducted effectively by cooperative effort.

- Educating and informing the general public in
the identification and understanding of traffic
control and safety devices and respect for the
importance of these devices to the safety of
the public.

- Creating new markets and enlarging current
markets through promotional programs,
market research and public relations.

- Discussing, studying, promulgating and
advocating the adoption of technical standards
and
specifications for the selection, use, placement,
control, and servicing of traffic control and
safety devices.

- Establishing partnerships with aligned, affiliated
and related associations and/or
organizations which value and promote traffic
safety.

- Performing such other activities as may be in the
best interests of the membership

The Northland chapter is comprised of members from
Minnesota, North Dakota & South Dakota.
Members are persons or companies engaged in the
manufacture, rental, sales, inspection, installation or servicing
of:
-Permanent or temporary safety devices
-Installation and/or removal of pavement markings
-The manufacture and/or installation of traffic signing
-Design of traffic control plans
